Are you planning a backpacking trip or spend time in the outdoors?
Alison has studied and practiced wilderness survival for 30 years from legendary tracker, Tom Brown, Jr., numerous other experts, and lots of dirt time heading out into the forest with nothing.
This hands-on course is designed to teach you everything you need to know in a wilderness survival situation to get out safely or survive until help comes. You’ll get lots of practice crammed into one day on these skills.
We’ll cover:
Fire starting using multiple methods, both modern and primitive
Primitive shelters
Water purification and hydration
Best edible plants to know for survival
Primitive hunting and trapping
Predator safety
Protecting food
Location: Tracks and Roots Homebase in Glen Allen, VA off Kain Road (exact address sent out after sign-up).
