Preparing for a backpacking trip or just love survival shows? Come out and get your hands dirty with these hands-on survival courses!

Alison Meehan has been studying and practicing survival skills for over 20 years – building shelters, friction fire, making twine, traps, fishing poles, baskets, tracking, practicing stealth skills, bird language, water purification, flint knapping, and of course, foraging and herbalism. She attended The Tracker School and its off-shoot summer camp program, Coyote Tracks, and many other schools as well. In college, she had 2 mentors who took her under their wings and taught her one-on-one.

David Meehan was in the Army Reserves for 7 years, deploying for 2 years total, and learned the art of war, first aid, and more.
