Relax, recharge, and make lasting friends at this women’s retreat at an amazing location with 1 mile of river access, a lake, and hiking trails!
Do you ever wish you could be a kid again and just go to summer camp? Well, look no further!
Camp out overnight at a convenient location in Goochland, Virginia about 45 minutes from Richmond. You’ll have the chance to slow down, have fun, learn new skills, and connect with nature and each other in this overnight retreat.

- Fire Starting Basics
- Foraging
- Sit Spot Routine
- Evening Drum Stalk
- Storytelling
- Animal Tracking
- Bird Language
- How to Move Silently through the Woods
- Leadership, Avoiding Distractions, and Letting Go of Negative Thought
Time: Arrive at 5 p.m. on April 26. Ends at 11 a.m. on Sunday
Location: Westview on the James Retreat Center in Goochland, Virginia with trails, James River access, and a lake.
Details:
- Indoor cots for sleeping OR you can pitch a tent outside.
- Please bring meals and snacks plus 1 item for stone soup on night one. Some food will be provided.
- Please bring 1 item to share for stone soup Friday night.
- Temperature-controlled indoor meeting space and sleeping areas.
- Bathrooms and showers.
- Parking close to the bunkhouse.
We will be able to do a little foraging and I’ll have a few things to try that I’ve prepared ahead of time as well.
Early Bird Pricing: $375 until April 15, 2024 then $550.
