Come learn over 30 wild edible plants available in Virginia from experienced forager, Alison Meehan.
Alison has over 30 years of experience foraging and using her finds to make delicious pies, jams, muffins, cookies, pestos, vinegars, salads, pizzas, frittatas, and more.
This course is a beginner-friendly course and a required pre-requisite for foraging levels 2, 3, and 4.
Location: Forest Hill Park, Richmond, VA
Kids 13 and up welcome to register with an adult attendee.

Thank you for registering for the Tracks and Roots Foraging Level 1 Course - Forest Hill Park, Richmond, VA! Do you have any health concerns I need to be aware of prior to the course? We will be walking about a mile since we have so many plants to cover! We will meet on your course date at The Stone House in Forest Hill Park and we will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Please be aware various events can make parking challenging, so it's wise to arrive a little early. Please bring the following: - A notebook - A pencil/pen - A water bottle - A bagged lunch I will contact you by e-mail at least an hour prior to the course if there is inclement weather and we must reschedule.
