Learn over 30 wild edible plants available in Virginia from experienced forager, Alison and/or David Meehan.
Alison and David have over 30 years of experience foraging, gardening and learning about the amazing world of plants.
This course is a beginner-friendly course and a required pre-requisite for foraging levels 2, 3, and 4.
Location: Bumpass, VA
Kids 13 and up welcome to register with an adult attendee.

Do you have any health concerns I need to be aware of prior to the course? We will be walking about a mile since we have so many plants to cover!
We will meet at 1646 Factory Mill Rd, Bumpass, VA 23024 and we will begin at 10 a.m. on February 18, 2023.
Please bring the following:
- A notebook
- A pencil/pen
- A water bottle
- A bagged lunch
I will contact you by e-mail at least an hour prior to the course if there is inclement weather and we must reschedule. Class will proceed in light rain, but will be rescheduled if there is lightning.
